چکیده
Abstract We present a matrix method for obtaining new classes of exact solutions for Einstein’s equations representing static perfect fluid spheres. By means of a matrix transformation, we reduce Einstein’s equations to two independent Riccati type differential equations for which three classes of solutions are obtained. One class of the solutions corresponding to the linear barotropic type fluid with an equation of state p = γρ is discussed in detail.

New Models of General Relativistic Static Thick Disks
New families of exact general relativistic thick disks are constructed using the “displace, cut, fill and reflect” method. A class of functions used to “fill” the disks is derived imposing conditions on the first and second derivatives to generate physically acceptable disks. The analysis of the function’s curvature further restrict the ranges of the free parameters that allow phisically accept...
متن کاملMulti fluidity and Solitary wave stability in cold quark matter: core of dense astrophysical objects
Considering the magneto-hydrodynamic equations in a non-relativistic multi uid framework, we study the behavior of small amplitude perturbations in cold quark matter. Magneto-hydrodynamic equations, along with a suitable equation of state for the cold quark matter, are expanded using the reductive perturbation method. It is shown that in small amplitude approximation, such a medium should be co...
متن کاملGeneral relativistic hydrodynamic flows around a static compact object in final stages of accretion flow
Dynamics of stationary axisymmetric configuration of the viscous accreting fluids surrounding a non-rotating compact object in final stages of accretion flow is presented here. For the special case of thin disk approximation, the relativistic fluid equations ignoring self-gravity of the disk are derived in Schwarzschild geometry. For two different state equations, two sets of self-consistent an...
متن کاملFundamental Steady state Solution for the Transversely Isotropic Half Space
Response of a transversely isotropic 3-D half-space subjected to a surface time-harmonic excitation is presented in analytical form. The derivation of the fundamental solutions expressed in terms of displacements is based on the prefect series of displacement potential functions that have been obtained in the companion paper by the authors. First the governing equations are uncoupled in the cyl...
متن کاملConstraints on relativistic beaming from estimators of the unbeamed flux
We review the statistical properties of relativistic Doppler boosting relevant for studies of relativistic jets from compact objects based on radio–X-ray(–mass) correlations, such as that found in black-hole X-ray binaries in the low/hard state, or the “fundamental plane” of Merloni, Heinz, & DiMatteo. We show that the presence of only moderate scatter in such relations does not necessarily imp...
